Obituary of Anne Adams

Anne “Bootie” Adams of Fripp Island passed on Monday, December 14, 2020 after a long illness.

Anne was born in Savannah, GA, daughter of the late Andrew P. and Mattie Caldwell and widow of Bernard Wallace “Wally” Adams, Jr.  Shortly after marriage to Wally, they moved to California where Anne worked at Pacific Bell.  After retirement, Anne settled on Fripp Island, SC where she enjoyed painting, crafts, and spending time with her friends.

Anne is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Nyman of Beaufort, SC and Terri and husband Eric Graham of California; her sister Beverly and husband Ron Penkava of St. Simon Island, GA and her brother Andew and wife Georgianne Caldwell of Beaufort, SC; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Anne's zest for life lives on with those who knew her.
