Obituary of Tony Cosme

Tony Cosme, 72, of Charleston (formerly of Garden City) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 17, 2020. Tony was born on April 9,1948 in Bogota, Colombia to Rosa Ligia Jaramillo Zorrilla and Antonio Crescencio Cosme Ramos. He moved to the United States when he was only 5 and settled in Garden City, NY. He later graduated from Garden City High School in 1967.

In addition to his parents, Tony is predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Karen and his sisters Nieves Margarita, Blanca Ligia and Gloria.

He is loved by his 4 children Deanna, Antonio, Lauren and Jessica, his 3 grandchildren Izzy, Christian and Cruz and his siblings Alfonso, Octavio, Amparo, Christina, Blanca and Martha and many nieces and nephews.

Tony loved family. He faithfully lived for his wife, Karen and cherished his four children and 3 grandchildren. Despite the heartache, we know Papa is now with Mom, eternally happy and walking hand in hand on a beach in Heaven.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 29th at Simplicity Low Country Funeral, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456 at 4pm.
