Obituary for

Joseline “Jeannie” Hall

1956-2021

On April 21, 1956, Joseline Gardenia Jones Hall was born to the late

Wilhelmenia W. Jones and Jean Daniel Foster in Charleston, SC. As she

was affectionately called, Jean or Jeannie, ended her earthly journey and

entered into eternal rest on January 5, 2021.

Jeannie was educated in Charleston Public schools and graduated from C.

A. Brown High School in 1973. She went on to graduate from Durham

Business college in Durham, North Carolina, in 1976. She worked for

Charleston County Public Library for over 15 years until she retired in 2018.

Jeannie absolutely loved her library family. She enjoyed working with

the patrons as well, whom I’m sure she made a lasting impression. Jeannie

was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and

truly a great friend to all. She loved to read, cook, and entertain everyone.

Joseline was joined in Holy Matrimony to Terrill Hall, the love of her life, on April 20,

2014.

She was predeceased by her mother, father, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. She

leaves to mourn her loss a dedicated husband, Terrill, daughters Shynae

(Carl) Jones of Summerville, SC, and Kristen (LeMont) North of Fayetteville, NC. One

sister, Karol (Alford) Shields of Charleston, SC, and one brother Ponce

(Theresa) Jones of North Charleston, SC. Also, she leaves three grandsons

James, Carl, and Carlton; three granddaughters Kiresten, Lydia, and

Karrington; one great-granddaughter Jadyn. Jeannie leaves

behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends
