Obituary of Mary Kathleen Miller

Mary Kathleen Miller, 89, passed away with her loving family surrounding her. Mrs. Miller was predeceased by her husband, Douglas E. Miller. Born on November 27, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Jenkins and Alpha Bentley Jenkins. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Miller Siler; husband George; Iris Miller Judge; a son Dan Young; wife Pam. She is survived by two sisters and two brothers. She was blessed with three grandsons, two granddaughters, six great granddaughters and four great grandsons. Mrs. Miller was a retired Child Care Provider at the Charleston Naval Shipyard for 25 years. Mrs. Miller loved working with children. She was also an outstanding cook and shared many dishes with others. Memorial services will be held at St. Andrews Family Worship, 9 Tovey Rd, Charleston SC on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 2:00pm. There will be light refreshments afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or charity of your choice.
