Obituary of Cynthia Diane Simmons

Cynthia Diane Simmons, 56, of Hardeeville, South Carolina, entered eternal rest February 2, 2021.

Cynthia was born September 3,1964, in Savannah, Georgia, to George JR and Mary (New) Simmons. She was a member of Life Spring Worship Center in Springfield and was known as a loving aunt and second "Mama" to many.

She is survived by her sisters Cathy Daniels, Paula Simmons and Angela Simmons - Hadwin;several nieces and nephews, as well as, great nieces and nephews and several cousins. She is preceded in death by both her parents, George and Mary (New) Simmons; her brother, George W. Simmons III; a sister, Rosemary Simmons - Black; two nieces, Tiffany Black and Michelle Maddox; two nephews, Christopher Whitfield and Brandon Whitfield.

There will be a celebration of life in her honor at a later date.
