Kevin Unbewust

Obituary of Kevin Unbewust

The family of Kevin M. Unbewust, 53, of Jedburg, South Carolina is sad to announce his passing in his home on February 12, 2018. Kevin was a man of honor and virtue. Kevin’s greatest honor was that of being Daddy. He was a dedicated, devoted, and loving father to all three of his girls. He always made sure he was at their sporting events, school programs, and awards ceremonies. He was their biggest cheerleader and greatest fan! They were his princesses, and they all knew it. He loved his baby girls, they always knew they could count on Daddy, and they will miss him terribly. He will always be with them, their special guardian angel. He lived the life of a “hard working man” working 2 jobs for most of his life, only stopping because his health forced him to. He was a skilled electrician by trade, and a talented and well-loved cook at Flowertown Restaurant for a greater part of his short life. Let’s put it this way, he had already been working there several years before he graduated from Stratford High School and continued to work there until 2015! Kevin’s one hobby throughout the years was playing pool. He enjoyed well deserved time to join teammates a couple of times a week to play pool, and often they advanced pretty far in tournaments. He sure loved that pool! So much so, he played in his man cave at home too! He also enjoyed NFL football, and was a fan of the Chicago Bears, and along with his family loved the Clemson Tigers. Kevin is survived by his beautiful daughters Ashlynn Unbewust, Haley Unbewust, and Lacey Akins, Darlene Brown Unbewust, Father Robert H Unbewust Jr., Sisters Lori Ross of Summerville, SC Kathy Unbewust and her husband Kevin of Byng, Ok, Brothers Robert H. Unbewust III of Texas, and Stephen and wife Bonnie of Elizabethton, TN. Kevin is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members who will miss him terribly. Kevin was predeceased by his loving mother Katy Carr, step-father Richard Carr, and brother-in-law Robert Ross. The family would like to invite you to a celebration of Kevin’s life at Simplicity:Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson SC 29456 on Friday February 23, 2018 at 3:00pm.
