Obituary of Monroe E Dixon
Monroe E. Dixon, 89 of North Charleston, passed away on 14 February 2021 due to Pancreatic Cancer.
He was the husband of the late Mary A. (Harris) Dixon, and father to John E. Dixon of Myrtle Beach and Tammy Davis of Goose Creek SC.
Monroe E. Dixon Served in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean War where he received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star for Valor due to his Heroic actions on 13 August 1952 during the battle of Bunker Hill.
Arrangements are being handled by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, North Charleston. A private Service and burial (due to COVID-19) will be at Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 1PM on Monday 22 February 2021.
