Obituary of Wyman Aaron White

Wyman Aaron White, 64, passed away on March 28, 2021 at his home in Hanahan SC.  Wyman was born in Charleston, SC on  December 20, 1956.

 

  He is survived by his wife Nancy Bolchoz Zindars of Hanahan, SC  and his father Daniel O. White Sr. of Hanahan, SC. Preceding him in death are his mother, Dora Sarah Weatherford White and a brother Daniel O. White Jr.  Other survivors are his two daughters, Leia Jennifer Kennedy of Mt. Pleasant SC and Sarah Christina Buchanan of Marysville, OH.  A sister, Teresa W. Powell and a brother Franklin O. White, both of Hanahan SC.  Two stepsons, Lee G. Pepin of Bluffton SC and Jared A. Zindars of Hanahan, SC. Two stepdaughters, Sonja L. Zindars of Summerville, SC and Jessica R.  

Gibson of Hanahan, SC.  Also 17 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 

  Wyman served in the United States Air Force from August 1975 to August 1979. He was honorably discharged as a weather technician.  He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 from Trident Technical College.

  Wyman worked several places during his lifetime with his favorites being the 9 years at the Post and Courier as a security guard and as a CDL instructor at Palmetto Training.

 

  His hobbies included gardening, studying chemistry and weather phenomenon. His most favorite past time was the time he spent gigging for flounder, shrimping, crabbing, oyster picking and clam digging.   He loved his salt water heritage.

He also loved teaching others the skills he knew and enjoyed. 

 

  He was a member of Revive Charleston for many years and served the church

in any capacity he was needed.  His most favorite was working at the church food bank and Operation Go at Christmas.

 

  A memorial is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, April 2 at Revive Charleston on Remount Rd in North Charleston SC.  Flowers, donations and condolences can be offered at 1222 Stratford St, Hanahan, SC 29410.
