Obituary of Victor Getman

On March 31st, 2021 at 7:43 P.M. Victor Clyde Getman of Hanahan SC passed away peacefully in his bed, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Silver Springs, Maryland on August 21st, 1970 to Clyde Getman and Sharron Ralph. Mr. Getman was a graduate of Summerville High School. Preceded in death by his daughter Emily Nicole Getman, Mr. Getman is survived by his sons Alexander Getman, Donovan Sessoms, and Jamie Sessoms. His fiancé Regina Sessoms, sister MaryAnne Robertson, his ex wife Catherine Getman, brother Christian Cavallo and his Goddaughter Deja Hughes, niece Scarlett Robertson, Nephews Victor D Getman, and Gary Robertson. Also there was Tink. He worked as a driver and mechanic for North Area taxi before it closed down, then worked as a Tow Trucker driver and mechanic in the Lowcountry area, routinely collaborating with NCPD for rotations. He would start work early and end work late, always the hard worker. His service will take place on April 30th, 2021 at 3 PM. 7475 Peppermill Pkwy in North Charleston
