Obituary of William Griffin Sellers

Griff Sellers, of Summerville SC, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 of natural causes. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all in the community.

Griff was survived by the love of his life, Nancy Coleen Gentry, daughter Katlyn Ayshley Sellers, daughter Haley Brooke Sellers and son Jarrett Christian Sellers. He also has three grandchildren, Jaylynn Kiara Kelly, Jordan Micha Kelly and Cali Brooke Sellers. Others include brother William Albert Rabon and mother of Katlyn and Haley, Joni Michelle Sellers. He was also the loving dad of three furbabies, Molly, Buttons and Izzy.

Griff was an outgoing guy who would always stop to say hello – no one was a stranger; or give a helping hand to whoever needed one.

Griff was a member of the H. L. Hunley Camp #143 of Summerville, SC.  He participated as an honor guard and was a member of the cannon crew for re-enactments around the area.

Griff enjoyed going to concerts with his sweetheart Nancy, spending time with his children and grandchildren and listening to country music.

Visitation/Celebration of Life will be April 10, 2021 from 1 – 3pm at Simplicity Creamatorium, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC
