Dear Grandma, death is the last chapter in time and the first chapter of eternity. You taught/shown us how Love, you introduced us to Lord, how to pray I’m going to miss the laughter, Love, talks we shared and the support you gave. You forgot to show us how to live without you and I know you’re in a better place. Although this hurt so bad, we’ve gained a special angel and we’re forever thankful for having you Love always your granddaughter Vyniecia, Jamarion, Skylar and Ryver♥️♥️

Dear Sister,
You were the first best friend of my life. Thank you for being my greatest inspiration. I hope you knew how much I loved you. You will always live in my memories. You brought joy, happiness, and laughter to all who met you. You will be sorely missed by everyone. Time may pass and fade away but memories of you will always stay.
Love you much,
Barbara

We don't always have to meet a person to know them. We see exactly who you are in your granddaughters Alicia and Barbarett. You are (you're still alive in heaven) a kind, forgiving, generous, loving and beautiful woman of God. Your legacy lives on through them and everyone you've touched the lives of through our Lord Jesus Christ! Thank you for fighting the good fight. We'll see you when we get home❤❤❤
Love, the Oglesby family

I want to say that even though I didn't have the pleasure of meeting you in person. I have enjoyed meeting some of your daughters, granddaughters, grandsons, and great-grandsons and daughters. Thank you for instilling your values in them, and in return, they are beautiful people. As the saying goes, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." There is no doubt in my mind that you would have been a second grandmother to me. Love you, and I'll meet you when I get to heaven.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Ms Shirley.
I will missed her kisses on my cheeks and the warm smile as I greeted her on Sunday morning at Cathedral.
She always had a praise for the Lord for all the wonderful blessings throughout her life.
I will be praying for the family that the Lord will comfort and strengthen you all and give you peace.
In Christ alone
Vanessa

Dear Grandma, I would never thought you would leave us so soon. I understand now that you have run your race and God needed you back home with him. Grandma I love you so much and I want you to know that. I thank you for starting a family of your own. You blessed your grandchildren with a wonderful mother Roxanne M. Hoard. I appreciate you raising us into wonderful young ladies but also introducing us to your lord and savior Jesus Christ. I may cry many tears due to you no longer being upon this earth. My heart will always remember your smile, your laugh, your hugs, and your kisses . Grandma I just ask you continue to watch over us and please tell my Mama I miss her as well. Please keep her company up in heaven until we meet again. Grandma I love and miss you so much. Love Always and Forever your Granddaughter Sherece A. Hoard

Mrs Hoard I can't even find the words right now. It's Grandma, not Mrs. You and auntie were best friends until her passing. I can't imagine my children not sitting on your porch and hearing the stories of me running down the street in my sundress. We had you for generations. I can remember my days of sit-n-spin in your house, to the first time I came to the house pregnant with Nyreeah, to the day I brought "that man" as you and Roxanne so affectionately called him (AKA my husband). While I know that you're no longer here with us in the body, the memories will live on forever.
Tell Roxanne I said Hi! (And Zion needs his ears cleaned :))

I'm grateful that I had the joy of having you as my Grandmother. :) Without you, we wouldn't have been born. You birthed my mother, Roxanne and helped raise us. Thank you for being apart of my foundation leading & guiding me to Christ. I'm constantly quoting you and the nuggets of wisdom you gave me. Loved and not forgotten Mrs. Shirley Ann Hoard.

Sometimes I believe God places people in our lives to set good examples . He places these touchstones in our paths to remind us that even though we are touch by evil in our lives ,that there still is good people in the world . We may not see these touchstones everyday , but our hearts know that God set them in our lives to guide us towards the light of his love. Thank you Ms. Hoard for being our touchstone . Thank you for giving us the pleasure of having an extended family to love . Thank you for placing a smile on our hearts and the gift of open arms to hug us . We will cherish your love forever . Have a wonderful homecoming . Hope to see you someday and finish our conversations .
