Obituary of Edwina Mae Moyer

Edwina “Eddie” Mae Moyer, age 75, of Summerville, SC peacefully passed away on June 7, 2021, from stroke complications.

Eddie was born in Indianapolis, IN on October 3, 1945, and was the daughter of the late George Donald Vize and the late Eleanor Vize from Fleetwood, PA.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy DiBiaso and son-in-law Ken DiBiaso of VA; her son Tommy Moyer of SC; and grandchildren Samantha DiBiaso, Tony DiBiaso, Austin Moyer and Annie Moyer.

Eddie was a breast cancer survivor. She was dedicated to service and helping others. Throughout her life, she volunteered for many years as an Ombudsman with the US Navy, for the March of Dimes, headed the United Way campaign and donations to local schools for Scana, and supported breast cancer research.

She loved to craft, paint, and create flower arrangements. She also loved to cook and celebrate holidays with friends and family. Eddie loved to travel, go to the beach and watch the sun rise. She will be missed by many.

A memorial gathering will be held on June 11, 2021, from 6pm to 8pm at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, Inc.
