Obituary of Andrea Ellen Wahby

Early afternoon on Saturday June 12, 2021, Andrea Ellen Wahby, left this earthly plane and returned to the stars at the age of 56 years. She was an adoring mother to Miranda Wanby and honorary aunt to Olivia Keenum.

Andrea was born on May 9, 1965, in Westchester, Pa. As the eldest of four siblings, she was wise beyond her years and a rock to anyone who needed her.

Andrea was a huge animal lover and made regular donations to her local SPCA. She was pretty good at guiding souls, and as a self-taught chef, she enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and loved ones regularly. Additionally, she had a special passion for plants and gardening. She was a true nurturer in every sense of the word. She took chances on many people and animals that others would have found too difficult to deal with and turned away.

Andrea enjoyed her career of 26 years as a manager of a mom-and-pop loan company located in Summerville, SC. Her dedication and service to the company and the people she served were immeasurable and appreciated throughout the community.

In the Charleston area, Andrea is survived by her beloved daughter Miranda Wahby, treasured niece Olivia Keenum, best friend Tamra Lachicotte and the Green family friends Bo, Val, Claire, Emma, Connie and Russell Green. In the Summerville area, she is survived by her friend Angela Myers and her two boys, Kaleb Jones and Jackson Salladin. In her home state of Pennsylvania, she is survived by her father Tom Nicarry, her brother Bo Potter, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She will be received in heaven by her mother Phylllis Duggar Nicarry, her brother Adrian Potter, her sister Becky Nicarry, and her dear friend Karen Green Keenum.
