In her 88 years she experienced a very full life that touched many. She was loved far and wide! She so loved her family and always wanted to be right in the middle of all the shenanigans at the family gatherings. She was a very strong woman, who was not just a mother to her children, but was truly the Matriarch of our family.
She was raised and started her family in Social Circle Georgia. After losing her husband, FA Hood, she relocated and found her way to Charleston SC. She lived many happy years on Johns Island, before moving to West Ashley, where she remained for over 30 years. To complete her working career she enjoyed many years as a Walmart greeter before she finally retired. A couple of years ago she moved in with family and lived as a princess.
