Obituary of Geraldine Mary Godwin

Geraldine Mary Godwin of Ladson, SC passed away on April 21, 2016. She leaves behind her husband John B. Godwin, her son Ernest Oliva(Clare), Jeremy D. Ward, her stepson John S. Godwin(Melissa) and Joseph S. Godwin, her stepdaughter Jennifer S Henderson(Jeremy), her grandsons- Landon, Quin, and granddaughters- Victoria, Kimberly, Sadie, and Phoebe. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Doreen M. Oliva and Robert E. Bourne and step father Andrew Oliva. Also, by one son Andre Ward. Geraldine was born May 4th, 1943 in London, England. She was a resident of Ladson, SC until she passed at home with her husband and dear friend Kathy Watkins present. Friends and family are welcome to attend a viewing on Monday April 25, 2016 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Service’s Chapel from 11:30am-1:00pm. The burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Conway, SC on Tuesday (April 26, 2016) at noon. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or some other suitable children’s charity in Geraldine Godwin’s name.
