Obituary of Eddy Ray Harris

Eddy Ray Harris (Moncks Corner) passed on April 17th. 2016. He is survived by wife of 44 yrs. Michelle Foxx Harris from Johnson City Tenn. He was a father to 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. Robert Chadwick Harris, father to C.J.(8yrs.), Eddy Ray Harris Jr. husband to Tammy Higgins Harris and father to Ray(18yrs.), Cole(16yrs), Connor(13yrs), and Emma(9yrs).and, Christopher George Harris , father to Hannah(16yrs), Jack(14yrs), and Sarah(9yrs). Eddy was born on November 29th. 1955, in Birmingham, Ala. the eldest child of Gilbert Ray Harris and Marilynn Louise (Merchant) Harris, and brother to Debra Harris Gilfillan, Joseph Wayne Harris, and Cynthia Diane Harris. He made a living as an Architectural Hardware Consultant with the majority or his career at Butler Hardware and Specialty Co. , while raising his family in Hanahan SC. Eddy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and Nascar . He was also an avid fan of Alabama Football. Eddy Ray Harris, 60, of Moncks Corner, loving husband to Michelle Foxx Harris and a former architectural hardware consultant, died Sunday. A memorial service will be held at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services located at 7475 Peppermill Pkwy Suite E. North Charleston, SC 29418 on Saturday April 23, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
