Obituary of David Thomas Baxley

David Thomas Baxley, born February 13, 1954 died September 12, 2021.

Tom, Tommy, Tombo, brother, beloved, funny, silly in the best ways, forgiving, loved family, always made a bad situation bearable, never complained, made all feel special, full of mischief, LAID BACK TO THE MAX, didn't care if the sun doesn't shine and did I mention my favorite brother, a partner in crime against 5 she-males; he passed away yesterday. The last 18 months were hard on him. He lost his reason for living named Karen and just kinda gave up. Can't blame him I guess. He will be missed by a family that doted on him. He contracted polio when he was two yet you NEVER heard him complain. The next 10 years of his life were consumed with surgeries and accompanying hospital stays. At the discharge of his hospital stays he would be surrounded by nurses and staff that he had charmed. Thank God for Shriners hospital. He was a long way from perfect but he never asked to be thought of that way. His love and charm affected our family like none other of us seven siblings. RIP Tom, we love you and will miss you.
