Obituary of George Donnald Robertson

George Donnald Robertson, 66, of Summerville passed away October 8th, 2021 George, who was known by most as Don, Donnie, Dad, or Papa was born on March 6, 1955 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He retired as a Chief in the U.S. Navy. After retiring from the Navy he traveled the world working for B & D Boilers. He then started a new adventure of being a successful business owner and operator of Pressure Off You. He was currently an employee at his son's business, Joe’s Truck. He always went over and beyond to get the job done, and to be helpful to others that he was working with. Don always enjoyed fishing whether the boat or cooler was full or empty, he just loved being at the water. He enjoyed playing paintball for many years where he even operated a paintball field at Faith Assembly Of God. He enjoyed playing ping pong where he would consistently beat his Grandchildren nearly every time. He also enjoyed family dinners where he was surrounded by the love and chaos of the family he loved so much. Don loved God very much. He was an active member of Faith Ministries where he loved to learn about God, and had started a homeless ministry to help others not as fortunate as he was. Don shared his life with the love of his life Sharon for 48 years. They had 3 wonderful children together, Alicia, Mindy, and Joey, 11 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. Don and Sharon shared travels around the world, fishing, camping, and everything in between. They had a marriage that was true love in God's eyes. They honored their vows of for better or worse, richer or poorer, and in sickness and health no matter what. Don also loved his family very much. He always dreamed of having his entire family together again. Sadly, for us, but for him he will be rejoicing to see all of his family together and celebrating his wonderful life that he had here with us because he is now with the angels.
