Obituary of Sharon Fabian

Sharon was born in Charleston, October 9, 1951 and passed in the early morning of July 9th, quietly in her sleep after her long battle with lung cancer.

 

She will be laid to rest, along with her husband, at a small, private family memorial service on Saturday, July 21, 1:00 P.M. 

 

Sharon liked doing word search puzzels, coloring, having coffee while chatting with her next door neighbor and socializing with her 

friends at the Waffle House near her former residence in Ridgeland. 

 

Sharon is survived by her brother Arthur Wood, her sisters Alicia F. Meacham and Dawn L. Griffin, along with numerous beloved nieces, 

nephews and a large extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin J. and Vernell B. Wood and her loving husband, Marion (Ed) Fabian.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sauldam Baptist Church Cemetary Fund would be welcomed. (5945 County Line Rd, Ravenel, SC 29470) 

 

The family would like to thank the Nurses, Doctors and staff of the Angel Oak Unit of Johns Island Rehabilitation and Healthcare 

Center for their compassion, caring, and attention to Sharon during her short time there.
