Obituary of Zeldon "Leroy" Hoffman

Zeldon “Leroy” Hoffman, known by many as Lee Hoffman, resident of Charleston, SC, formerly of Crawfordsville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 6:30 pm in his home at the age of 71 years.

 

Lee joined the United States Air Force in 1964 and was assigned to a special crew that flew with the S. Ambassadors.  Lee was honorably discharged on June 7, 1970.

 

His interests were taking his grandson, Gage, to NASCAR races, and baseball games, and he also liked coin collecting.

 

Lee was a happy man who never met a stranger.  He had a calm personality and he would help anyone if he could.

 

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jill S Hoffman (Norton); daughter, Janel F Hoffman (Davis); and grandson, Gage C Boyd.

 

Lee also leaves behind his brothers, Roger Hoffman and Stanley Hoffman, both of Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Dwight Hoffman of Columbus, Ohio; sister, Connie Hoffman (Beck) of Indianapolis, Indiana; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

Lee will be joining his parents in his new journey of life and will be greatly missed on this earth.

 

Lee will be greeted by Howard L Hoffman who passed away on August 11, 1981 and mother, Ella Yohn Hoffman and his two beloved spaniels, Toby and Skippy.
