Obituary of Carl O Hollis

Carl O. Hollis, husband of the late Dortha Reed Hollis, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. He was born on January 2, 1936 in Rossville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Carl A. Hollis and Frances Ware. Carl retired as a Master Chief in the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service. He also retired from Lockheed Missiles and Space where he was a missile technician.

He is survived by two daughters, Carla H. Wall and her husband Randy of Inman, SC; Deborah H. Smith and her husband Dewayne of Goose Creek; three grandchildren, Jordan Norvell (Braxton), Nathan Smith (Davis), Hannah Melton (Caleb); one Great-grandson and namesake, Hollis Stone Norvell.

Carl will be remembered as the most loving Husband to Dot, Dad, Grandpa and G-Grandpa. Arrangement will be handled by Simplicity Cremation Services and will be private.
