Obituary of Pamela Anne Burris Booze

On February 20, 2022 Pamela Anne Burris Booze walked through the pearly gates of heaven to meet her Lord with her family at her side at the young age of 64.

Pamela was born January 24, 1958 in Millen Georgia to the late Benjamin Franklin Burris and Nancy Burris Andolfatto. Pamela resided in Laurel Maryland as a child and later moved to Charleston in 1970 where she spent the rest of her days on James Island. Pamela attended Ft Johnson High School where she met the love of her life. In 1979 she married Charles (Chuck) Booze to whom she continued to love deeply through 43 years of marriage.  She had two children, Amy Melissa Booze Cordray, of Ravenel and Charles Edward (Eddie) Booze Jr, of James Island. She was a wonderful wife and mother who always gave guidance and her “3 cents”.  She was so proud of her grandchildren, Brandon Thomas and Harlee Cordray, both of Ravenel.  Pamela loved watching her grandchildren play sports and spent many of days and nights at the baseball field. She cherished her conversations and time spent with her best friend, sister, Darlene Kelly of Charleston. You could always find her sitting on her front porch taking care of her birds and fish in her pond. Pamela also enjoyed cooking, fishing, shrimping, and boating but most of all she loved making homemade gifts for her family and friends.

Pamela was predeceased by her father Benjamin Franklin Burris, brothers Greggory Harley Burris and Terrell Lee Burris, and step father John Andolfatto.

She is survived by her husband Charles Booze, daughter Amy Booze Cordray (Philip) of Ravenel, son Charles (Eddie) Booze Jr of James Island, mother Nancy Iola Andolfatto (Harold) of Meggett, sister Darlene Kelly (Danny) of Charleston, brothers Benjamin Burris of Seaford DE and Ronald Burris (Kim) of Meggett, mother-in-law Alice Booze Ray of James Island, brother-in-law William Scotty Booze (Lori) of James Island, and her dear grandchildren Brandon Thomas and Harlee Cordray both of Ravenel.

Services will be held Saturday March 12, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church located at 942 Folly Rd at 11:00am with a celebration of life following. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to West Ashley High School Baseball 3815 Savannah Hwy Johns Island, SC 29455 or their Venmo @KDB70.
