Obituary of Robert Neal Snipes

Robert (Bob) Neal Snipes, 70, passed away on August 29, 2018 at his home.

Bob is survived by his siblings:  Larry E. Snipes, Wesley E. Snipes, Diane Kitchens, and Charlene Snipes, his daughters:  Jennifer Osborne (Rusty) and Rebecca McEwen (Tom); five grandchildren:  Ashley Osborne, Stefani Osborne, Marcus McEwen, Megan McEwen, and Max McEwen.

Bob was born on September 14, 1947 in Rock Hill, SC to the late Charles F. Snipes and Evelyn G. Snipes.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Vernon Snipes.

Bob was a Vietnam Veteran who retired from the U. S. Navy. He was a member of  Hammerton #332 Masonic Lodge and Omar Shrine Temple.

Memorial service will be held at Simplicity Funeral Home of North Charleston September 1 at 10 am.  Burial with military honors at Beaufort National Cemetery will be at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Shriners Hospital for Children.
