Obituary of Jonathan Michael Jones

Jonathan Michael Jones affectionally known as JJ, 35, of Ladson, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 15th, 2022. 

Jonathan was born on September 4th, 1986 in Charleston, South Carolina as the only son of Mary Theresa Duncan, of Charleston, South Carolina and John Rouse Jones of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. He worked in the roofing industry for many years and had a passion for owning his own company one day. In addition to his parents, left to cherish Jonathan’s loving legacy and infectious smile is his bonus father Elgin Merle Selbee of Moncks Corner, SC; his sisters, Amber Michelle Jones of Ladson, SC; Jennifer Marie Gregory of Goose Creek, SC; and Emily Maranda Selbee of Ladson, SC. His son Mason Alexander Jones of Ladson, SC. His lifetime partner Ashley Cheri Yon of Ladson, SC. His aunt Leslie Toland Russell and her family of Fort Lauderdale, FL. His nephews Roman Averion White of Ladson, SC; Andrew Jaxson Gregory of Goose Creek, SC; and a niece Aria Maleah Crosson of Ladson, SC. Along with a host of other family and friends who’s lives he touched. A celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled at a later time.
