Obituary of Steven Reginald Ray

Steven Reginald Ray was born February 21, 1952 in Kewanee, Illinois to William Ray and Ora McIntyre Ray. Steven was a graduate of Tuskegee University with the class of 1975. During his life span he served as a Chemical Engineer, Commercial and Air Force Pilot, and an Independent Contractor in the construction industry. March 21, 2022, he passed peacefully with his devoted wife at his side.

A graveside service will be held on April 4, 2022, 10:30 AM at Anderson Funeral Home Cemetery, 611 Robert Smalls Parkway, Beaufort, SC 29906. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30 AM, Love House Ministries, 423 Parris Island Gateway, Beaufort, SC, 29906. There will be a repast after the Memorial Service.

In celebration of his life, attendees are asked to wear something blue (his favorite color), business attire but no ties. As a Keepsake for his wife, memory cards will be available for expressions of memories of the deceased. Masks will be required for attendance. In lieu of flowers expressions of love can be made by doing any of the following: monetary gift via cash app ($KaffeeStallingsRay), a donation to The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals,whose mission is to expose, educate, and inspire minority youth to the industry of aviation.
