Obituary of Jerry Lee Murdoch

Jerry Lee Murdoch, age 75, passed peacefully away in Hardeeville, SC on June 3, 2022. He was a resident of Sun City Hilton Head in Bluffton, SC. He was a 1965 graduate of Hancock Central High School. He moved to St. Augustine, FL in 1975 where he met Doris, his wife of 45 years. He worked as a Home and Ship Builder for 35 years before retiring.

He was an avid golfer, fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Doris, his son, Jeff Murdoch of Atlanta, GA, Doris’ son, Erac Priester of Bluffton, SC and five grandchildren - Jordan, Abby, Bailey, Evan and Wyatt. He is also survived by his siblings John Murdoch and Joann Wicker. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Josephine Murdoch.

There will be a private ceremony to spread his ashes in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, which was his favorite vacation spot with his family for the past 23 years.
