Arline Muckenfuss Bryant, 86, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 15, 2022, at her residence. Arline was born to the late George "Palmer" Muckenfuss and Emma "Lois" Fender Muckenfuss on March 29, 1936, in Ridgeville, SC. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Jack L. Bryant, son, George Arthur “Buddy” Bryant, father, George Muckenfuss, mother, Lois Muckenfuss, sisters, Emily Muckenfuss Spell, Mae Muckenfuss Hutto, Anita Muckenfuss Bailey, brothers, Phil Muckenfuss, Conway Wilson Muckenfuss. Arline leaves behind two daughters, Ann Bryant of North Charleston, Jacqueline (Paul) Piechowski of Virginia Beach, and two grandchildren, George Bryant and Darrell Piechowski. In addition to her two daughters, she is survived by seven siblings: Grace Muckenfuss Spell, Georgia Muckenfuss Walters, Jane Muckenfuss Herndon, Rhett Muckenfuss, Pam Muckenfuss Tuttle (Bobby), Elmer Muckenfuss, and Wallace Muckenfuss (Carol). Arline was a devoted and loving wife of 39 years. She was gentle and kind mother, grandmother who cared deeply for her family. Arline was a great cook and known for her red rice, pepperoni rolls, and banana pudding. A dedicated Christian woman and member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where she was active in Vacation Bible School (VBS) and served as a nursery worker. She also loved to travel with family and friends. She will be missed by many and was greatly loved by all. The family would like to thank her best friend, Judy Singleton for all her support and love. A visitation at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3595 Ashley Phosphate Rd, North Charleston, SC 29418 for Arline will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM followed by a Life Celebration Service at 12:00 PM. An interment at Live Oak Memorial Gardens at 3093 Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC 29414 will occur Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be accepted to Cummings Chapel, PO Box 351, Ridgeville, SC 29472 and to Hillcrest Baptist Church at the address above.
