Obituary of Sylvia Igoe

Sylvia Nettles Igoe, 77, passed away July 21, 2022 at her home in Charleston. Sylvia was born September 11, 1945 the daughter of the late Emma Dell and Aaron Nettles, Sr. Sylvia was a very active member of the Bethany Methodist Church of James Island. She worked with the MYF Youth Fellowship for many (20) years. The children loved her and said that Sylvia was an important part of their young lives. She was the secretary and treasurer of the Bill Davis Sunday School Class and was involved with the Christmas Manger Scene. Sylvia always helped with the church dinners and was known to bring her pies she made with one piece missing, which made many laugh. Sylvia worked for the Bank of America for over 40 years. A graveside service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Ruffin, SC at a later date. I lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the following:
