Ronald Cohen Singletary Sr. “Ronnie”, December 10, 1945 – September 5, 2022

Ronald Cohen Singletary Sr. “Ronnie” of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on Monday, September 05, 2022. He was raised in North Charleston, SC and resided in Summerville for the past 50 years. Born December 10, 1945 in North Charleston, SC he was the son of Cohen and Essie Mae Singletary. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing, yearly planting and harvesting of his vegetable garden and most of all he loved his children and grandchildren. He was the monarch of his family and a long-time employee of General Electric and Goer Manufacturing.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Jeffcoat Singletary; two sons, Ronald C. Singletary, Jr. and David A. Singletary (Sheriess) and two daughters, Ronda S. Hunt (Jeff) and Danielle D. Singletary and four grandchildren, Dylan Singletary, Chelsea Singletary,  Kaitlynn Singletary, Caylee Peagler. His sister Faye Lark , brother Harold Singletary and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Cohen and Essie Mae Singletary, and his two sisters, Donna Sweat and Gloria Sausman and brother, Ollie Singletary "Jr"

A memorial service to celebrate his life is planned for 2:00 PM on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, 281 Treeland Drive Ladson, SC.
