Obituary of Mary Louise Clarke

Mary Louise Clarke, 89 years old passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 in Summerville after a lengthy illness. She was a true, faithful, and loving wife for over 65 years to her husband, Carroll L. Clarke. 

Louise was born and raised in Morgantown, WV. Shs graduated from Morgantown High School and worked in a glass factory for several years, married in Oakland, MD. After moving to Summerville, she worked for 15 years in a clothing factory before retiring.  She gave birth to and raise three sons; Robert Clarke of Summerville, Jeffrey Lynn Clarke of Sumter, and Bruce Clarke, who is deceased. Louise has one surviving sister, Peggy Myers of Michigan; one brother of North Carolina, five grandchildren and seven great grands. 

Louise and her husband joined Miles Road Baptist Church in 1979 and she attended there until her death.  She was a true beliver in her Savior Jesus Christ. Louise loved to sing and became an active member of both the regular choir as well as the senior choir. 

The family will receive friends Monday, October 3rd from 10 a.m. to 10: 45 a.m. at Miles Road Baptist Church.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11 a.m.
