Jack and Bea were unfailingly kind and faithful in their support of our ministry. They loved our senior adult outings, dinners and day trips. We were dinner guests in their home. The love of God gave them love for others. We will remember them often until we see them again.

Jack and Bea, hard to think about one without the other.
My first remembrance of Bea was seeing her walk, in her 70’s, up and down our street, Hatteras Lane. Cinnamon, their well-mannered pet dog was often with her. Jack would be working in their immaculate yard in our Ambergate subdivision in Simpsonville, SC. Soon we would learn that we had common acquaintances, mostly through church. Over the next few years, I would drop in to talk with them and they would drop in to talk with us. Thanksgivings, anniversaries, super bowl parties, and just times getting together were special times. Bea was my mother’s age, and as my mother had great recipes, Bea also had many to share. A couple of my favorites were the cranberry honey butter recipe and her peanut clusters made in the crockpot.
Bea and Jack were 2 peas in a pod, both with a great sense of humor. After spending many years together, they complimented each other and were almost always in agreement as decisions were made, even when it was time to leave Greenville, their beautiful home, and their many friends and move to Summerville to be close to their 2 daughters.
Coincidentally, as they moved to Summerville, our son enrolled in MUSC in Charleston. Bea and Jack were the perfect hostess and host as we frequently spent the night with them during our visits.
We feel very blessed to have spent so much time with this lovely couple. The best thing about them was that they loved the Lord and served Him frequently with their whole hearts. Now they are together again in Heaven. God bless their family as they reflect on their precious memories.
