Obituary of Aileen Mary McLernon-Reineck

Aileen M. McLernon-Reineck passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She is dearly departed from her husband, Michael J. Reineck, her children Caitlin Jacobs (husband Joseph), Jake Peterson, Amber Reineck Root (husband Bryan), Abby Sinner (husband Geoff), Scott Reineck (wife Joanie), and Ross Reineck (wife Ali). Much loved by her parents Lawrence A. McLernon and Mary Margaret McLernon, as well as her siblings Chris McLernon (wife Lisa), Sean McLernon (wife Gillian), Bridget McLernon Sykes (husband Sean), and Mary Kate McLernon. Aileen will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren: Tristan, Adeline, Norah, Violet, Jack , Jace, Lilah, Reid, Connor, Otto and Leona, in addition to her numerous nieces and nephews, who all loved her in return. Aileen was generous to a fault, and if anyone announced they were having a baby, you’d see her running towards said person from 100+ miles away. Aileen’s family and friends will remember her as someone who was a helper at heart. She was vibrant, and intelligent, as well as the family’s style icon. She had a wicked sense of humor and did not suffer fools lightly. Aileen will be deeply and forever missed by any who had the pleasure of knowing her and will leave a large hole behind. A memorial service is planned for 10am on October 28, 2016, at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, North Charleston, SC.
