Obituary of RAY I. PRIDDLE

In Loving Memory Ray I. Priddle, 84, of North Charleston passed away 20 October, 2016. He was born on December 7th, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, to parents Harry and Helen Priddle. After finishing high school in Detroit, he served in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years. He moved to Cadillac, Mi, in 1955; then to Alabama in 1978. He worked most of his life as an Engineer in the automotive industry in Michigan and Alabama before retiring, first to Summerville, then recently to North Charleston. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 35 years, Nancy (McGinnis) Priddle, sister Lucille Wnuk, and brothers Larry and Dennis Priddle. He is survived by his children, James (Janice) of Mesick, Mi., Steven (Diane) of Niceville, Fl., and Susan of Colorado Springs, Co., grandchildren Lauren, Ashton, Amy, and Noah, sister-in-law Sue Priddle, many nieces and nephews, as well by Nancy’s children and grandchildren who cherished their relationship with Ray. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, 28 October at 1PM at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services in North Charleston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or any Veterans organization in Ray’s name.
