Obituary of William "Buddy" Burrows

Eutawville- William “Buddy” Burrows, 61, passed away June 22, 2023. Buddy was the son of the late Pete Burrows and Ann Burrows Page of Eutawville. In addition to his father, Buddy was predeceased by his nephew, Josh Overstreet.

Buddy was very active in baseball and football at Tom Conley Ballfield in Ladson. As an adult, Buddy was an avid softball player and coach with the Ladson Bucs, The Horseman, and The Pirates where he continued to play into his 50’s.  He was a fierce Clemson Tiger and Atlanta Braves fan, win or lose.

Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Simplicity Lowcountry, Ladson Chapel.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step father, Don Page; siblings, Mary “Greg” Overstreet Mooney and Beth “Mark” Dorman ; nieces, Paula Overstreet White, Mindy Overstreet Rawls and Carrie Dorman; nephew, Alex “Naomi” Dorman; one aunt, four uncles and numerous grand nieces and nephews

He loved his large family, his many close friends and would do anything for them when needed.
