Obituary of Charlene M. Donahoe

Charlene M. Donahoe entered into eternal rest on Nov. 26th 2023 in Summerville SC at the age of 65. Charlene is survived by her husband Thomas Donahoe, her three children Colleen Donahoe(Children-Ben, Evan, Corey, Kynlee), Katie Adams( Children- Andrew and Keira), and Ryan Donahoe, and her brother Eddie Orr(Children- Grant and Gillian), as well as her best friend of 40 years Connie Fowler. She is preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Edward as well as her brother Eric. 

She was born on March 14, 1958 in Pittsburgh PA to Edward and Ruth Orr. Charlene graduated from St. Francis Nursing school in 1981. She later was married to Thomas Donahoe in Pittsburgh PA on Sept. 1, 1981.  Soon after, Charlene became a loving mother to Colleen Donahoe in 1982, Katie Donahoe in 1986 and Ryan Donahoe in 1988. 

Charlene was a loving mother who cared more about her family than herself.  She dedicated her life to making sure her children and grandchildren had a great life and never wanted for anything.  No matter the situation her children never doubted her love and support.  She will be remembered as a positive, loving and strong individual that would give the shirt off her back for the people she loved no matter the situation.

There will be no memorial service as per Charlene's wishes.  Rather than flowers, donations should be made to Dorchester Paws or The Charleston Animal society as Charlene always had a love and passion for her animals.
