Cynthia Louise Wiley, also known as Cindy, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023, in Charleston, South Carolina, at the age of 62. She was born on January 27, 1961, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Marie Augusta Massenburg (Pinckney) and Phillip Porcher Mellichamp, and was preceded in death by her mother, her father, her brother James "Red" Edward Mellichamp, and her brother Phillip Porcher Mellichamp Jr.

Cindy will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Clay Franklin Wiley Jr., her devoted sons, Ronald David Wiley and Clay Franklin Wiley III., and her grandchildren Ronald Raymond Wiley, Dylan Steven Wiley, Sierra Danielle Morgan, and Mia Reena Wiley. She will also be remembered by her sister, Rose Marie Rice, and her brothers, William Laurens Mellichamp, Allen Barnett Mellichamp, and Charles Pinckney Mellichamp.

Cindy was a pure soul to be around. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her warm and caring nature made everyone around her feel better for knowing her.
