Obituary of Mary Marshall Godwin

Mary Marshall Godwin, 80, passed away December 15, 2023. She was born on July 8, 1943, in Ridgeville, SC. She was the daughter of the late Floyd W Marshall and Agnes Crouch Marshall.

 

 She owned and operated Mary’s Day Care of Hanahan for many years. Mary was a very giving person, always thinking of other peoples needs. She enjoyed doing crafts and decorating for the holidays. She also loved the color blue, her dogs and fishing. What she loved most though was her family. Family gatherings were her favorite. Her granddaughters meant the world to her.

 

Mary is survived by her son Dwayne Godwin, daughter Debbie Antley (Ed); Granddaughters Adrienne and Jordan; sister Barbara Sisco, niece Angie Tyner (Duane); and her lifetime friend Reta, as well as many loving cousins and friends.

 

Service celebrating her life will be held at 2pm on Wednesday December 20, 2023, at Simplicity Low country Cremation and Burial Services, North Charleston Location, with visitation to follow.
