Obituary of Alan Curry

In Loving Memory of Alan Curry 

 

 Alan Curry, a devoted husband, loving father, follower of Christ and passionate enthusiast of all things Penn State and Porsche cars, left our world on December 23, 2023. He leaves behind his wife, Laura, and his three boys, Jacob, Noah, and Luke as well as his brother Rand, and his two sisters Kelly and Shannon.  

 

Born in Chelmsford, Massachusetts to William and Melissa, Alan's journey led him to pursue his education at Penn State University, where he earned his Bachelors in Computer Science and Mathematics. Alan's professional journey reflected his dedication and excellence. 

 

His favorite past times were watching Penn State athletics, and his Porsche. Yet, beyond his professional accomplishments, collegiate devotions and automotive passions, Alan's greatest pride and joy were his three boys. He embraced the role of a father with tough love, imparting values of kindness, resilience, and a strong work ethic. His guidance and support laid the foundation for their future endeavors. A man of faith, Alan's love for Christ shaped his worldview and provided him with solace in both joyous and challenging times. His spiritual strength was a guiding force that brought comfort to those around him. 

 

As we remember Alan Curry, let us celebrate a life well-lived—a life marked by love, commitment, and a deep appreciation for the things that brought him joy. In our hearts, his memory will forever remain, and his legacy will continue through the lives he touched. 

 

 A celebration to honor Alan's life will be held on December 29, 2023 at 11 AM. A time to offer your condolences to the family will begin at 10 AM. It will be held at Northwood Church in the extension building, at 4020 2nd Ave, Summerville, SC 29486. 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to a charity of your choice, or Northwood Church, in Alan Curry’s name. 

 

 May Alan Curry find eternal peace in heaven, and may his family find strength and solace in the cherished memories they shared.
