Mildred Walters

Obituary of Mildred Ann Walters

Mildred Ann Geiger Walters (Midge) age 65 of Eutawville SC was called home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2023. Midge was born on March 06, 1958, in Charleston to the late Paul Alexander Geiger and Mildred Byrd Geiger. After an unfortunate set of tragic events Midge’s body grew tired and was unable to recover, passing away at Trident Regional Medical Center.

Midge enjoyed gardening, camping, traveling, music, food, and spending time with loved ones. She could light up a room with her vibrant personality and was always making jokes and laughing. She explored many different careers in her life but was enjoying retirement and having extra time to spend with her husband of 49 years. They loved to spend time together growing fresh fruits and vegetables, cooking, camping, bird watching and spending time with their cats (Buster and Spooky).

Our lives will never be the same and she will be terribly missed by her family, friends and everyone who knew her. She is survived by husband of 49 years Bruce Wayne Walters, sister Alexis Smith, two children Kim Elliott and Wayne Walters along with several nieces/ nephews and great nieces/nephews and a grandson Justin Elliott. She has gained her angel wings and is now celebrating freedom from any discomforts with her grandson Alexander Elliott, sister Nelda Geiger Daniels, brother-in-law Thomas P Daniels, parents Paul Alexander Geiger and Mildred Audrey Bryd Geiger and her brother Paul Alexander Geiger.

We will celebrate her life this Friday 1/5/2024 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services in Ladson SC. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm and a service will be held from 1-2pm. Please share any fond memories, pictures, music and/or kind words. It is so important we remember and share the special moments together as we heal.
