He began a 25 year career with Sears Roebuck in 1967 where he retired as a National Loss Prevention Manger.
In 1969, he met his future bride, Shelley S. Gosman. They married in 1970 and raised two sons, Thomas Lee and Matthew Scott. He was extremely proud of his sons who blessed their parents with three grandsons, Ryder, Collin and Holden. Fred is survived by five nephews, and many great nieces and great nephews and even a few great great nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss their Uncle Fred very much. He loved them all.
