Obituary of Mary Kathleen O’Connor

Mary Kathleen O’Connor entered into eternal rest on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church, 28 Sumter Avenue in Summerville, on Friday, December 4th at 9:00 AM. The family will receive friends and relatives after the service in the parish hall. Mary was born on May 1, 1965 in Niagra Falls, New York, daughter of Kathleen Smith O’Connor and the late Joseph P. O’Connor. She attended Fletcher Technical College in Houma, LA, and worked many years with the U.S. Postal Service. Mary is survived by her three daughters, Elise (Cason) Boehler, Emily (Jeremy) Galloway, and Erika Buchanan; granddaughter Avalon Boehler; her mother Kathleen O’Connor; three brothers, Daniel (Wendy) O’Connor, Timothy O’Connor, Rev. Patrick O’Connor OSFS, and one sister Maureen (Carl) Counasse; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
