Obituary of John "Clayton" Adams

John “Clayton” Adams was the son of John and Crystal Adams born December 6, 1995, in Charleston, South Carolina. He lived in Dorchester and passed away unexpectedly on January 16th at his residence. Clayton was a 2014 graduate of Dorchester Academy where he also played football. He had diverse interests, combining history, science enthusiast, gaming and outdoor activities. He had a passion exploring Mexican Cuisine, making, and savoring pizza and indulging in nightly ice cream.

He was employed with C&B Electrical where he worked as an electrical assistant.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a brother Ronald Adams (Gabby) of Houston TX, Grandparents Kip and Joanne Cox of Tampa FL, great aunt, Millie Kuhl, an Aunt Carrie Williamson (Trent) of Tampa FL, Uncle Patrick Cox (Briana) of Tampa Fl, He also leaves behind 2 nieces (Sarah and Rachel), 3 special ladies he considered family; Martha “Nana” Bailey, Tara DeLonge and Sara Ginn along with a host of extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Ronald Adams, a brother Richard “Rickey” Cox, Hailee Bryant, and a daughter Emerson.

A celebration of life will be held at 2pm on Saturday January 27th at Salem United Methodist Church, 7191 Hendersonville Highway, Walterboro. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation prior to the service beginning at 1pm.
