Obituary of Joshua Ralph Voorhees

After two long, hard years of battling cancer, Joshua Voorhees, age 35, passed away on January 28th, 2024 under the care of Hospice and surrounded by his family. The last two years had been extremely difficult but he is finally at peace and not in pain.



Josh was born on January 23rd, 1989 in Elmira, NY. He is survived by his wife, Jenna Voorhees, who he married October 15th, 2023. He is also survived by his mother, Pamela Nickerson (John Seeley) and father Charles (Cindy) Voorhees. He was their youngest son together. He also leaves behind an older brother Charles Voorhees, three younger brothers Joseph, Ryan and Jeremiah Voorhees, and a nephew Ayce Voorhees. He is also survived by his grandmother, Sharon Haner, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

We will be hosting a Celebration of Life in Elmira, NY at the Elks Lodge at 300 E Gray St, NY 14901 from 1-4pm on February 24,2024
