Obituary of Virginia Lee Lucas

Viriginia Lee Jones Lucas, 88, of Summerville, widow of Wesley Parker Lucas, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015. Virginia was born March 11, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio to Ruth Elizabeth Littrell Jones and John Paul Jones. She married Wesley Parker Lucas in 1953 and enjoyed accompanying him on his many military assignments, her favorite one being RAF Wethersfield in England. While there, she and her husband developed a love of antiques and they purchased many treasures while stationed there. Virginia owned and operated Ancient Crest Antiques in Idaho and Washington for over 35 years. She loved to travel and make friends and especially enjoyed playing cards. She leaves behind three children, Judith Lynn Teaster (Don) of Ravenel, Charles Raymond Lucas of Ilwaco, WA and Robert Wesley Lucas (Cheri) of Gaston, OR. She has 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She also leaves ban older brother Robert Lang Jones of Crystal River, FL. Funeral Arrangements are private. We would like to thank Hospice of Charleston, Davita Jedburg and all her friends for all their care.
