Obituary of John H Cowart

John H. Cowart, Jr. born November 21, 1930 in Baxley Georgia. He passed away on November 25, 2015. His residence is Hanahan, South Carolina. He is preceeded in death by his parents John H Cowart, Sr. and Cora Cowart and his first wife Shirley Cowart; his sons Stephen and John Michael Cowart. His brothers James Mack Cowart and Ted Cowart. Survived by his wife Kathleen Riggs Cowart, son David Brent Cowart and daughter Melissa Riggs Anders, brothers Ricky Cowart and Bobby Cowart, sisters Lucille Wilson, Betty Ross, Ellie Hazel, Wanda Sadler, and Ann Cowart, and seven grandchildren; J.C., Harlie and Zach Cowart; Sullivan, Lilly, Edward and George Anders. John is survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins. He worked most of his life as a Mercedes technician. He was a loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather. He will be missed dearly by all. The visitation will be from 5-7PM on November 29, 2015 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services. The funeral services will be held Monday November 30, 2015 at 11AM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services with a burial immediately following at Carolina Memorial Park.
