Obituary of Ralph William Langdon

Ralph William Langdon, age 82 of Summerville S.C. passed away on Sunday, November 15 2015, surrounded by family. Ralph was born on November 12, 1933 in Clio Michigan, the son of Ralph and Dorothy (Campbell) Langdon. He graduated from Durand High School and took agriculture courses at Michigan State University receiving many FFA Awards. He worked 25 years for the City of Flint Michigan and retired in 1995 as the only blacksmith welder for the City of Flint. He was a member of the Oakbrook Summerville, S.C. Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses being baptized in 1969. After marrying Sherry Lou Morris on May 24, 1958 they began their journey of life together with the arrival of Loretta, Ross, Ellen, Joel and finally Tanya. Ralph was many things but was always a good father and hard worker. He was very much known by many for his loving hospitality and giving spirit. Ralph is survived by his wife Sherry, his children Loretta, Ross and wife Dayna, Ellen and husband Eduardo, Joel and wife Susan, Tanya and husband Israel. Grandchildren, Aubrey and husband Michael Quinn, Shane, Hannah, Chase, William, and baby Kenzia, his brothers Jim Langdon, half brother Les Langdon, Cousin Sally Sue Gale, Niece Elizabeth Tucker and husband Scott, Nephew Daniel Langdon and wife Tonya. Along with his extended family in the congregation, countless friends and relatives, we look forward to the time when all those in the memorial tombs will “hear his voice and rise” to an earthly paradise that Ralph preached about for the last 46 years. John 5:28,29; Isaiah 65:21-23. He was proceeded in death by his Father Ralph Holcomb Langdon and mother Dorothy (Campbell) Langdon. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, November 21, 2015 at the Oakbrook Summerville SC congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses 1308 S. Main St. Summerville SC 29483
