Obituary of Harry Lee Gressette

Harry Lee Gressette, 52, of Goose Creek, SC died unexpectedly on October 7, 2016. Mr. Gressette was born on April 13, 1964 in Charleston to the late Mary Thompson Gressette. In addition to his wife, Laurie Ann Gressette, Mr. Gressette is survived by two sons and three daughters, Brandon Gressette, Harry Gressette, Jr., Alicia Gressette (Derrick), Salina Meyers, and Danika Meyers; seven beloved grandchildren, five nieces, a nephew, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is survived by his father, Douglas Gressette (Jo), two brothers, Randy Evans and Billy Gressette (Sara) of the Charleston area. Mr. Gressette, a concrete expert and business owner, was an invited speaker for the renowned World of Concrete annually and was published in professional publications. As a worldwide consultant for concrete specialists he was involved in research and development of advanced polishing solutions for business. He was a founding board member of the Concrete Polishing Association of America, member of ACI, National Ready Mix Association, American Society of Concrete Contractors, and a Master Craftsman and Certified Instructor by the Concrete Polishing Association of America. He was a Master Mason of Goose Creek Lodge 401. Mr. Gressette was an avid fishing and hunting sportsman, participating in SKA Tournament Fishing and Bass Tournaments throughout the south. Mr. Gressette had a passion for his friends, his hobbies, and his business with an intensity to take it to the highest level. Funeral services and celebration of life will be held Friday, October 14, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 1425 Mt. Tabor Rd, Bowman. Interment will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 5:30-7:30 p.m at Journey Church, 261 Treeland Dr, Ladson. A Masonic Service will follow at 7:30 pm. Memorial donations may be made to either Mount Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1425 Mt. Tabor Rd, Bowman, SSC 29018 or Harry L Gressette Scholarship Fund, care of Laurie Gressette, P.O.
