Obituary of John Louis Denu

John Louis Denu 72, of Charleston, South Carolina formerly of Siberia, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his home in West Ashley.  He was the son of the late Louis Oscar Denu and Mildred Mae Miller.  John is a retiree of the USAF and a member of the American Legion. John served in the Vietnam war, Panama and Desert Shield and Storm. John was an avid sailor, craftsman, handyman and artist to say the least. He is survived by his wife Rosalie Augusta Denu and his son, Shane Michael Denu.  He is also survived by his siblings Edward Denu, Donald Denu, Peggy Franchville, Rosemary Lagrange, Middy Keller, and Michael Denu. The immediate family will honor John at Beaufort National Cemetery in South Carolina with full military honors at a date to be announced later.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital www.stjude.org/donate or the Gary Sinese Foundation for veterans service www.garysinesefoundation.org.
