Mr Jim didn’t know our names but we knew him by his welcoming smile and hearty handshake that greeted us on many Sunday mornings at Seacoast Church. He reminded us so much of my wife’s father that she had to visit with him if only for a few minutes at a time. He always stuck out his hand for a second hand shake as we returned up the aisle after communion. A true Christian gentleman. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant Mr, Jim.

I only met Mr. Walden once at Judy's wedding to my brother George. Even though I only met him this one time, I remember the joy he possessed and how anyone in his presence felt that joy. Judy always spoke of her dad with such love and respect sharing how much fun he was and how he made such a deep impact on her life. May he now rest in peace. Kerry and I send our love to Judy, George and their entire family May God touch your hearts with comfort and peace.

Mr. James will be remembered as the private neighborhood watcher. He would sit out in his yard and watch all the coming and going around his area. Before we knew his name we would fondly call him “Old Man” because we knew he kept his eyes closely on our surroundings. He would even walk up and down the street during his checks. He enjoyed his neighborhood and the neighborhood loved him. He appreciated the kindness of the people who prepared meals for him and his family. Judy and her husband provided him with outstanding care. My deepest condolences go out to Judy, her husband, his family and friends. Allow the precious memories you shared to bring you through knowing that he is now resting peacefully in heaven. May his love for life continue to live eternally in each of you.

One of my fondest memories with Mr Jim was when we took a little ride out to the HOPE Acres farm in Bonneau. Mr Jim loved horses so we went out to the farm so he could spend some time with the rescue horses. He seemed to have a great time, I know I did. It has been a privilege to have known Mr. Jim and to call him a friend. Heaven is we welcoming him Home!

To the Walden family , I'm so sorry to hear of Mr.Walden passing . I have fond memories of him as a kid and getting to stay the night sometimes with Judy in his home . He was always a kind man with a huge heart felt smile . I'm sure your family will feel a huge void . I fully believe he's in heaven catching up with his beautiful wife . May you all find comfort some how during this difficult time . I believe Mr . Walden enjoyed life to its fullest and he just got tired . 94 years says a lot ! Love and prayers for you all... God bless .

Jim was my spiritual father that helped to lead me to Christ. Every day I spent with Jim was an adventure and a story to listen to. We may not have gotten a lot done but we had fun doing it.
I was always amazed at the size of his hands. The man built everything I could build nothing but he was so patient.
He made me a better person.
