Obituary of James Edward Walden

James E. Walden, SR. age 94, of  North Charleston, SC passed into heaven  peacefully on December 13, 2023 at his daughter Judy and son in law George Saffa's home.

 

He is preceded in death by: Wife Leola (Lee) Walden, brother  Wallace, sisters Francis and Delores.  Survived by children Lynn (Chris) Glass, Jim Jr (Penny) Walden and Judy (George) Saffa.  Grandchildren, Kari, Sonja, Marie, Jessica and Michael and their spouses, along with 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Jim was a former multi business owner, he loved woodworking and building furniture and custom homes with his creative ideas.   Jim was a faithful Christian and would always wear a suit to church.

He valued people everywhere always with positive words, advice and a smiling hand shake.

His love for family, friends, animals, and  life was unmeasurable.

He loved working beside his children in their businesses, like Lynn on the horse farm, driving with Jim Jr in Fed Ex truck's around the country, and greeting customers, and taste testing the products at Judy's bakery.

We celebrated him in life, and now in death because we know he is and always will be "FANTASTIC".
